Hi, I’m Sylvia Hsu. I’m a college admissions consultant, certified through the Professional Program in College Admissions Consulting at UC Berkeley Extension.
As a first-generation immigrant, I understand the hopes and challenges immigrant families face. The U.S. college admissions process feels complicated and overwhelming—especially when you’re trying to navigate it on your own.
As a consultant, I believe college admissions should start with the student—not a ranking list. Every student has a unique combination of strengths, interests, values, and aspirations.
